  • "I strongly recommend that any correctional facility start using PCIC3-Getting Ready for IC3 by Teknimedia as soon as possible. I teach 3 classes of 20 students 4 days a week and still have a large waiting list of students. I began using PCIC3 by Teknimedia and received such interest that the word got out how good the program was. Now at this point, I can not keep up with the amount of requests for my class. When I ask for feedback from the students, their biggest response is "It started me right where I needed to be, at the beginning." I have men of all ages taking this course and love it.... I will be using PCIC3 by Teknimedia for the rest of my career."

  • "We have been using the Teknimedia software in our Digital Learning Labs in Baltimore, Md. The training modules have been the catalyst for an education explosion in the area of computer literacy in our area. The software really is effective in addressing the needs of the first time user as well as the intermediate computer user. The curriculum is comprehensive and leaves no technical stone unturned. The most impressive thing about the product is the technical support that the professionals at Teknimedia provide. They really care about and stand behind their products. "

    Kevin McLamb, Information Systems Manager
The Mayor's Office of Employment Development
    Baltimore, Maryland

  • "The Teknimedia PC100 and 101 are some of the best computer education software on the market today. The software used the Keep It Simple for Students or (KISS) Principle very well. In our Success Through Education Program (STEP), which is a community correction education program, our students respond well to the program and they love the immediate feedback given from the software.

Teknimedia software is innovative and is on the cutting edge of modern technology. These two software packages, PC100 and 101, are an important part of our course curriculum and is integrated into both our Computer Literacy and Career Development Classes. Thank you Teknimedia for making such student friendly software packages."

    Russell Wright, Education Coordinator
    Ordnance Road Correctional Center

  • "We purchased PC100 and PC101, the Computer Literacy Series for our lending library. I tried both out first, though, and thoroughly enjoyed using them. They are easy and fun to navigate, perfectly suited to adults and youth, and very nicely organized. I've not seen a better tutorial for the newly computer-literate."

    Rena Paradis, Training Coordinator
    New Mexico Coalition for Literacy

  • "The Computer Literacy Series is terrific. It's been a big asset to our software collection. Our GED and adult basic education students have no trouble using the CD's. The language is simple to understand and the program is very user friendly."

  • "We use the PC100 program extensively with our basic computer literacy program and it has been a big hit! PC100 is by far the best basic CBT we have come across."

    Mike Sypult
    Northwest Arkansas Community College
    Bentonville, Arkansas

  • "This is a multimedia course that truly instructs the user. It guides the user every step of the way in a very comfortable manner. There are incredible graphics, sound and video used throughout the series which makes this software a good choice for a literacy classroom where reading skills are less developed. It would also be great for instructors with little or no computer experience who needed help to get started."

    Shari Mankal

  • "We have been using PC100, PC101 and PC120 for the past several months. We enjoy the graphics and the information displayed in each program. We use the programs as part of our Computer Literacy Curriculum. Each program is user friendly and enjoyed by our students."

  • "I have found Teknimedia to be of the highest quality and very user friendly. We use it as a basic requirement for all of our computer classes."

    Rich Emery
    Northern Neck Adult Education Program

  • "The Teknimedia programs are excellent! We use them primarily in our introductory technology classes to assist us in addressing the Technology Standards for Instructional Personnel. Our teachers love them because they can work at their own pace after the classes are over. They enjoy working with the CD-ROM's in groups and with their students."

    Erma Curtis-Evans, Technology Supervisor
    Portsmouth Public Schools
    Portsmouth, Virginia

  • "The PC100 - Basic Skills program received the highest rating possible from our students, teachers, and tutors… PC100 provides an innovative, multisensory approach to teaching computer literacy skills…  I highly recommend PC100."

    Kit Bieschke-Baker, Director
    Project Software
    Abingdon, Virginia

  •  "We have been using PC100 and 101 to teach computer literacy in our employability skills classes. Most of our clients are middle-aged dislocated factory workers. Most have little or no computer skills when they started our classes. After completing 100 and 101 they have the knowledge and — more importantly — the confidence to tackle the MS Office programs.

Our clients like the individualized pace of 100 and 101. They like having the flexibility of going over something again and again, if necessary, until they 'get it.' They like not thinking that they are holding others back. They like not missing some information if they have to skip a day of instruction. They like doing these 'classes' at their own speed and at their own pace.

We like 100 and 101 and we are looking forward to getting Managing Files and Folders."

Marcia Maitin, WAGE Training Center Coordinator
    Conway Adult Education Center
    Conway, Arkansas

  • "We have found the PC100, 101, and 120 CD's to be very beneficial in teaching, our adult students, basic computer and Internet skills. It provides the 'hands on' experience, in actual situations, many programs don't. Our teachers also use these for their own staff development needs."

Phillip L. Miller, Regional Director for Adult Education
    Frederick County Public Schools
    Winchester, Virginia

  • "Teknimedia's introductory level computer based training series, including PC100, PC101 and PC120, directly addresses a pressing need that we face at the Community Preservation and Development Corporation's Gateway@ Edgewood Terrace: teaching students in our career enhancement programs basic computer knowledge before they start our intensive training. Because applicants to our programs begin with a wide range of skill levels, it is important that we provide initial training before instructor-led classes start. Teknimedia's products work because they assume no prior skills - not even how to operate a mouse - yet they do not insult the student who has prior experience. The extreme accessibility and flexibility of Teknimedia's products, make them ideal for training beginners in fundamental computer skills and the CDs, unlike instructors, are available anytime and are infinitely patient."

    John Zoltner
    Community Preservation and Development Corporation
    Washington, D.C.

  • "We use PC100, 101 and 120 with the students in our introductory computer course. These are the best computer literacy courses we've seen!"

    John Chadwick, Director

    Manassas, Virginia

  • "PC100 is ideal for the novice or reluctant computer learner, as it introduces the Windows environment in a clear, non-threatening manner and provides ample opportunity for practice and skills development. Teachers appreciate the evaluation and record-keeping features of the entire 'PC' product line."

Alta F. Weiss, Adult Education Administrator
    Worcester County Board of Education
    Newark, Maryland

  • "Teaching the PC100 program in adult education motivates the students to pursue working on the computer. The physically and mentally challenged adults enjoy the instant feedback provided by the PC100 program which contributes to their self esteem during and after completion of the program!"

Kay Hampton, Supervisor of Adult Education
    Humphreys County School System
    Waverly, Tennessee

  • "PC101 is very comprehensive. Our students really like the way the material is presented and find it very easy to follow."

Ed Palaszynski, Ph.D., Director of Education
    Delta Computer Education
    Rockville, Maryland

  • "I am very pleased with the content of PC100, PC101, and PC120. My program requires 20 hours of basic computer literacy. Several WAGE Programs across the state of Arkansas have turned to Teknimedia for our education needs."

    Cheryl Asher, WAGE Coordinator
    Texarkana Adult Education

  • "PC100's stimulating graphics, concise audio and interactive activities combine to create a multisensory experience that reaches and teaches the computer novice."

Diane Hawkins, Adult Education Training Specialist
    Frederick County Public Schools
    Frederick, Maryland

  • "I found the PC100 to be easy to use and very informative. I especially like that it tests you after each small lesson. That helped to build my confidence and solidify the information in my head. I tutor very early readers and have found this to be very helpful for them. This program is formatted in such a way that beginning readers can use it with success. When is PC200 coming out? I need it yesterday."

    Paula Sorenson, Volunteer Tutor
    LVA Campbell County Public Library
    Rustburg, Virginia

  • "PC101 gives a comprehensive overview of computers, but does it in a way that even a true beginner can easily grasp."

    Sharla Worley, Training Specialist
Workforce Education Groups, Frederick County Public Schools
    Frederick, Maryland

  • "Our program works with a wide variety of disabilities (ex., stroke victims and physical disabilities). Teaching the students about the different things on the computer can be difficult unless there is a visual aid that can be used. This program has been a terrific teaching tool for me as well as my students, because most of us did not know much, if anything, about computers before using this program.

Most programs only teach typing. On the PC program, it does much more than just teach typing.  It also teaches the different terms associated with the computer. It teaches the different terms in Windows as well. Since I have a learning disability, this program has also helped me learn the different terms on the computer."

    Marlene S. Hendler, Volunteer Director/Coordinator
The League for Disabilities - Stephanie White-Trivas Adult Literacy Program
    Baltimore, Maryland

  • "The PC program is a spectacular learning tool that teaches someone who knows nothing about computers. Using computers can make life much easier than using a typewriter. It teaches how to use a mouse, how to scroll down a page, what icons are, and how to use Windows (examples:  how to open/close, minimize/maximize)."

    Reginald Hunt, Student
The League for Disabilities - Stephanie White-Trivas Adult Literacy Program
    Baltimore, Maryland

  • "With the PC computer program I have learned about the different functions of the computer.  I learned how the mouse works and the four basic actions of the mouse. I learned about icons. I learned how to get in and out of programs. I learned how to make corrections. I learned how to maximize and minimize the screen. Without the skills that I have learned through this computer program, I would have never been able to comprehend as much as I do now. Before this program I didn't understand what I was doing. This is the best computer program for teaching the computer that I have ever seen."

    Brenda Wheeler, Student
The League for Disabilities - Stephanie White-Trivas Adult Literacy Program
    Baltimore, Maryland

  • "I have enjoyed working with the PC computer program. Although I do have some computer experience, I have learned some of the different names, such as dragging, bullets, etc. It has enhanced my knowledge of the computer to where I actually know some of the different terms, especially in Windows."

    Keith Mattison, Office Assistant/Tutor
The League for Disabilities - Stephanie White-Trivas Adult Literacy Program
    Baltimore, Maryland

  • "The PC program has helped me understand how to use the IBM computer and how to use the mouse. It is a spectacular program. I have also learned how to make corrections/delete, double clicking, dragging the mouse, bringing up programs such as Free Cell, and scrolling. I have also learned how to resize/restore the screen, exit out of the program I am working on, and typing essays. The quizzes help me to remember what I have learned by reinforcing the information as each question is given."
